My First Half Marathon

Based on information found through my trusted friend and yours, Google I found a good plan. For others who are new to running half marathons like me, a friend suggested I follow websites Runner's World and Cool Running, and I found some helpful articles up there. Here are some that were particularly helpful.

If you're running, you must stretch before and after your workout. Not doing so leads to injury and muscle soreness, which is never fun, right? Here are some pre run and postrun stretches.

Nutrition is a major component in training, and here's a list of goods to buy and avoid at grocery stores, if you're a runner (or in general too!).

All the best for all those who are planning to run a half marathon or more. And for those who are considering taking up running as an activity, do it!
